You will typically find the character you choose as your partner hanging out in their room.
If you want to move to a different room, head over to Mirai Estates located in Mirai Town.
Your room will change over time, with both daytime and nighttime versions. Some change more than others, so pay close attention!
You can place a number of items into your room.
One of the features in your room is an alarm/timer. Use it for your day-to-day activities!
The characters will generally go about their day as they like in your room, but by using Hang-Out Mode, you can spend some one-on-one time with them.
First, you will need to call your character's attention.
And of course, you can do so with your voice as well!
By choosing Dress-Up from the main menu, you can change your character into any of the outfits you've purchased at the Mirai Mall.
Purchased outfits can be worn both in your room and in music videos.
Some of the special faces featured in the game include a Hachune Face for Miku, and a Hero Face for KAITO. And Miku has one particular special face...
Was this cute character intentional? Or unintentional?
Mikudayo was originally created as a promotional character for the Project Mirai series, but something's always been a little... strange about her.
In any case, she has garnered her own popularity now, and she's become a common feature in all of the "SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project" events!
Not only can you put on a Mikudayo mask, but you can even unlock a full body Mikudayo as well! Her sheer presence is just... overwhelming!
When you are hanging out in your room, sometimes guest characters will stop by.
Just listen for the doorbell, and head over to the lobby to greet your guests!
Other players' partners will visit, and sometimes GUMI will swing by to offer hints and advice!
Project Mirai DX features a fully functional music player that you can call up anytime from your room.
If you use a pair of headphones, you can use it as a portable music player as well!
By fulfilling various in-game requirements, you will obtain stamps as rewards.
The titles of stamps you've collected will become options for the end portion of your Profile Card taglines, so be sure to collect as many as you can!
